ATTO™-derivatives

ATTO™ -derivatives

ATTO™ dyes are designed to meet the requirements for molecular labels in the area of life sciences. TdB Labs offer polysaccharides derivatives labeled with ATTO488™ and ATTO647n™.

Characteristic features of ATTO dyes include strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, high photostability, and little triplet formation. ATTO dyesis highly suitable for single-molecule detection applications and high-resolution microscopy such as PALM, dSTORM, STED etc. Additionally, the dye highly qualifies to be applied in flow cytometry (FACS), fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) and many more.

ATTO is a trademark of ATTO-Tec.

Spectral data

  • ATTO488 has an absorption maximum at 502 nm and an emission maximum at 524 nm.
  • ATTO647N has an absorption maximum at 646 nm and an emission maximum at 664 nm.

Applications
Fluorescent labeled dextrans are primarily used for studies of permeability and microcirculation. Products labeled with ATTO488 can also be used for single-molecule detection, flow cytometry (FACS), fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) and more. Lysine-derivatives can be used for fixation and bioconjugation. Read more about application here.
